it s such a relief to find people who ve been there, done that! not that I wish that for anyone but since ..IVF happens, well, it s nice to share....we ve had 4IVF treatments and a lot of other tries /ways etc...there seems to be no obvious problem apart from me getting older, but coming across your site, felt like opening a door and letting some sunshine in! Greece is supposed to be something of an IVF haven in Europe (yes, we ve even got THIS kind of tourism!) but the surrogate mother issue is not so popular. At this moment, surrogacy seems like the only possible solution for me and my hubby~! I ll go through and over all your notes and you ll probably hear from us soon! In any case, Thanks for building this site

I live in the Middle East and am Christian. We can not travel outside of the country often and I have heard that Lebanon does Donor Eggs but can't find out who and where. I have a sperm preservation kit and can fly to Lebannon with my husband sperm to be stored until we find a donor as I am 44 and my husband is 31 and has no kids. Please help me as I am almost sucidal over all of this if there is no clinic that does donor egg IVF can someone tell me if there is anywhere else that is close to the Middle East?

Hallo,

my husband and I have been so lucky to find your homepage and we have read nearly everything in order to gain more information about surrogacy. We have tried several things and lost so much money (we went to turkey, to germany etc.) and now our last step will probably be surrogacy in India. We are ready to do everything for our wish to come true, but we want to be sure, that it is a good choice to visit India for that last step. Could you please help us and tell us, which clinic we should visit in order to have a good chance to make our wish come true? We do not want to become dissapointed once again... So we would be very glad, if you contact us and give us your advice. We do not know at all where to start and what to do to make a surrogacy in India. Our e-mail: [email protected]. thank you for this helpful site.

Thanks for your reply!
I have still one question: when a person has coeliac and the husband/wife as well, is there a chance to get pregnant on the normal way or are the fertilityproblems to big so that you have to go to a fertilitycentre for IVF or ICSI?
Thank you very much!

[No different than a bald person having breeding probs. Too many factors like environment, lifestyle, pollution, 9/11 conspiracy and mankind extinction!

Hi,

I just read your story and I must say I'm touched by your story.
I'm a medical student and I have to make a work about ethics&fertility problems. We have to discuss a case about a couple who has problems to get pregnant and all the ethics around it.So I went searching on the internet and so I came on your site.
But I have a question: Do you know what the chance is, when you and your husband are both coeliacs, for a child to have coeliac as well?Is it a genetic disease?
Thx

[Well it was 25% but when married it got 50%. However using a surrogate and what not it's back to 25%! ]

Ive just read some of your story and must say that my hart goes out to you. I know the sorrow that comes from being infertile, and fully support you in your choice of going for surrogate attempts.

We are planning a surrogate attempt in India and are searching for information. I wondered if you have any knowledge about surrogate agencies there and if they are any good?

Ive also been searching a lot for information about the travel home from India with the baby. I know it is no problem going home from USA with babies borne of surrogates to Norway, but do you know if there is any differents in these two countries. I also know that we get a birthsertificate in our names in India, and this is the same as you do in the states, I can not understand what the different then can be...

Can I also ask you if you know if it is normal to have so many surrogacy attempts as you have had?

Love from Norway

Hi. My name is Dara, I am 45 and a diabetic. My husband, Dominic is 38 and healthy. We did 9 full stim IVF cycles over 3 years without any pregnancies despite uterine surgery and the transfer of embryo's of acceptable size and number of cell division several times. We started working with a Gestational Carrier (GC) agency March of 2006 but have had to change GC for various reasons beyond our control. We have 3 embryos (from donor egg and donor sperm)in storage and want desparetly to have a child. We are still paying on our second mortgage. And, we took out another loan to cover the cost of a GC. We have heard about you situation/experience 6 months ago and are excited to discuss your thoughts on our situation and what you may suggest. Thank you for taking the time to read our message.
