Hi Nikki and Bobby, Read you story in the paper. I think you are very brave and also very correct in trying to find someone from India to grow your baby in. I have a good feeling about your story and know that you will get your wish. Keep going on the journey of trying to find someone who will help you for the love and not for the money. The money will be a bonus for that lady, but the love she feels for you will go into the heart of your baby and your baby will be a wonderful human being to be proud of. I have three children who make me burst with pride every single day of my life and I have just found out that I am going to be a gran for the first time in April 2004. I cant wait to hold our next generation.

I will keep watching the site and the newspapers to see how your plight proceeds.

Sending lots of love to you both. Go to India and find your babies womb...............

dont give up hope - not only are you finding help for yourselves you are doign so much for all the asian couples out there who have experienced infertility but had to keep it all hidden and hush hush - so much pressure to marry - even more pressure to have a boy!!! anyway keep searching but remember - adoption, fostering - are all options that will give you the opportunity to put those broody feelings into practice :spring:

I read the article about you in the Evening Standard today and as I write this to you, I am with my adorable soon to be 3-year old feeling almost guilty that there are some of us in the world who fall pregnant at almost the first attempt and never realise how lucky we truly are. I so hope you find someone who will help you realise your dreams - I admire you both tremendously for still being able to keep a sense of humour after having been through so much. Good luck.

Good luck, I saw details of your search on the This is London website. Hope your search for donor proves successful. Whilst never having undergone the struggle you obviously face trying for your family, I did experience a 2 year period of secondary infertility and I remeber how painful it was at the time. :haha:

Hi,

I have read your website with great interest and understand the pain and frustration you are both experiencing. We have also had 3 failed IVF cycles with excellent quality embryos each time. When I did conceive (naturally without any assistance !) our son was stillborn at 26 weeks due to abnormalities caused by a virus that the obstericians failed to notice inspite of several positive blood tests ! Anyway I just wanted to ask you has anyone at the Holly House clinic mentioned that the reason the embryos are failing to implant, as was the case with me, is due to Nikki perhaps having a strong immune system which attacks the embryos as it thinks they are foreign bodies ? The Lister Clinic in London offer a blood test called "natural killer cells" which detects an overactive immune system. After three failed IVF cycles (I started at 31 and had my last cycle at 32) this was offered as an explanation for failed implantation. The treatment for this is to take steroids following embryo transfer and up until week 12 of pregnancy to subdue the immune system. It may be worth looking into this although I understand that you wish to pursue surrogacy.

Anyway best of luck for the future.

Hi

read about you both on the Evening Standard website, and was so moved by your story.

I am very lucky to have been blessed with 2 healthy children, concieved naturally, but felt so strongly about IVF and infertility that I became an egg donor 2 years ago. I have never regretted it, knowing that someone has been able to share the joy I have with my children. I would urge all women who have considered this to do it- you will help so much, and your reward is that you will bring people immeasurable happiness.

I wish you all the luck possible in your search for a surrogate, there will be those who protest about 'using' a surrogate from India, but we are all human, and all have free will. Please do not be upset by those people. I hope you find the right lady, and that between you all you produce the child you wish for and deserve.

Best and brightest wishes always

Niki x
